SINGLE VISION:
Single vision lenses, as the name suggests, serve a single purpose. They are prescribed to correct vision for short-sightedness, long-sightedness, astigmatism and those requiring an intermediate view (e.g. computer).

VOCATIONAL LENSES:
Vocational Lenses have two main focus. Reading and intermediate, distance vision is blurred. Top portion is for intermediate (computer) use and lower is for reading. Ideal lenses for people who uses computers for a long period of time.

PROGRESSIVE:
Progressive lenses (also referred to as multifocal) are designed to correct vision at all distances. The lens allows for a gradual progressive change from distance vision, down through intermediate to near vision. There is no visible line running through the lens.

BI-FOCAL:
Bifocal lenses correct distance as well as near vision, but do not provide for intermediate vision. These lenses have a visible line in the lens, clearly dividing the distance and near vision windows.
